To keep pace with the company’s growth and international expansion, Holmwood Highgate Group (HHG), the largest bulk liquid transport manufacturer in the Southern Hemisphere, required a new larger national Head Office and manufacturing facility. Harridan, HHG’s property development division, was given the enviable job of sourcing such a site.
The brief: A large amount of prime land with sufficient access for large articulated vehicles.
Harridan’s answer: Five hectares of undeveloped land, adjoining the M1 Motorway, 32 kilometres south of Brisbane’s CBD.
To be owned and developed by Harridan, Holmwood Highgate’s Manufacturing Precinct is set to incorporate a high quality manufacturing facility with large hardstand, integrated support services such as reception and administration areas, a canteen and recreational facilities. Accessed by dedicated Pacific Highway on and off ramps, the manufacturing precinct will benefit from exposure to Brisbane’s western rim, the Darling Downs, Toowoomba and Central Queensland, via the Logan Motorway, to northern Queensland thanks to the Gateway Motorway and to southern Australia via the Pacific Highway.
Anticipated to add considerable value to the local economy, enhance the regional infrastructure and create a strong employment node for the area, the Holmwood Highgate Manufacturing Precinct will equip HHG with the size and strength to continue their southern hemisphere expansion for the foreseeable future.
